眠っている時に見る「夢」に執着したプロジェクト。
「夢は脳が見せる記憶のコラージュである」という持論のもと、覚醒時に収集出来得る物質、音、記憶などあらゆるものをマテリアルにした作品を創作。
それは時にはパフォーマンスに分類され、時には展示・インスタレーションに分類されるが本人たちにとってはカテゴリーの垣根は無い。
いかに起きている人間に眼を開けたまま夢を見せることができるのか？ DamaDamTalの興味はその一点に尽きる。
A project obsessed with the “dreams” seen while asleep. Based on the unique theory that “dreams are collages of memories presented by the brain,” they create works using every possible material—substances, sounds, memories—that can be gathered during wakefulness. Sometimes classified as performance, sometimes as exhibition or installation, for them there are no boundaries between categories. How can one show dreams to a person while they are awake, eyes open? DamaDamTal's interest lies solely in this one point.

幼少期よりクラシック・バレエを習う。思春期にバレエから離れロックバンドのマネージャーになったことから Live・パフォーマンスの多様性を考える。アパレル企業社員、インテリアコーディネーター、ネットショップ経営、などの仕事を渡り歩いた後に、再びクラシック・バレエとコンテンポラリーダンスを学ぶ。その後、中之条ビエンナーレ との出会いをきっかけに現代アート、及びパフォーミングアーツの道へ進む。

She has studied classical ballet since childhood. She considers the diversity of Live performance as she left ballet as an adolescent and became a manager of a rock band. After working as an employee of an apparel company, an interior designer, and managing an online store, she studied classical ballet and contemporary dance again. Her subsequent encounter with the NAKANOJO BIENNALE led her to enter the world of contemporary art and performing arts.

大塚 陽/ Akira Otsuka
小さい頃から身体を動かすことが大好きで、中学の部活では身長が高くなると信じてバスケットボール部に所属するも、永久のベンチ入りな上に身長も伸びないという冴えない学生生活を送る。 中学・高校の6年間続けたバスケ部の集大成とも言えるインターハイ予選では見事に一回戦敗退。大したこともしてないのに燃え尽きるという気分だけ存分に味わった結果「自分は競技に向いてない。人と競わない演技だったらどうだろう」と思い立ち、18歳から体操を始める。 体操の面白さに惹かれてデンマークまで留学。そこで諸外国との実力の差や語学力の無さにぶちのめされ、帰国後ダンスに転向。
コンテンポラリーダンスの舞台を中心に活動し、小池博史、坂東玉三郎、中村恩恵などの作品に出演する。
He has loved being physically active since he was a child, and in junior high school he joined the basketball team, believing that it would make him taller, but his life as a student was dull, as he was permanently benched and did not grow taller. In the inter-high school qualifying round, which was the culmination of the basketball team's six years in junior high and high school, the team was defeated in the first round with flying colors. After experiencing the feeling of burnout without having done much, he thought, "I am not suited for competition. What if I were to perform without competing with others?" He began gymnastics at the age of 18. Attracted by the fun of gymnastics, he went to Denmark to study. There, he was once again struck by the gap between his abilities and those of other countries and his lack of language skills, so he returned to Japan and turned to dance. He has worked mainly in the contemporary dance theater, performing in works by Hiroshi Koike, Tamasaburo Bando, and Megumi Nakamura.
